Your post just reminded of a comment I left on a post here about loyalty.

Some people think loyalty is about sticking with someone whether they are right or wrong. I don't agree.

We should know when to call out a friend for their bad decisions but when a friend's action doesn't align with my values, I cut them off.

The same goes for leaders who lead people astray.
