Truth is, no woman would want to be a man, but like you said the "weak and inferior" identity attached to women and girls aren't acceptable to most enlightened women.

And because the masculinity identity portraits virility and superiority, most enlightened women prefer to be identified as such.

What we perceive as gender identity play a major role in how we see ourselves and that is something we can’t change anytime soon.
