You know I recently made a comment about the "inspiration porn" on another platform. Some disabled hate the phrase because they are being used by abled as inspiration. Yet, these same group of disabled used other people ( both abled and disabled) as inspiration.

The cycle of comparison has been ingrained into the fabrics of our society. We can only see ourselves as successful when we pair our achievements with someone else's.

Although, there's nothing wrong in having an inspirational model in your life, however, we must learn to disassociate their weaknesses and strengths to who we are and how to use our potentials.
