We are yet to get a definitive term for rape (does it have to be violent or not). But for sure getting consent under false pretense is a criminal offense. In your case, it’s complicated. You liked the guy and was willing, even ready at that moment to have sex with him. You did enjoy the sex and would have continued seeing him afterwards if he hadn’t out himself. People cheat on their partners yet we don’t see it as a criminal offence.

My point is the guys offense is that he lied to you, but as for the sex being a rape, I don’t think so.
