True they have more comfortable living standards than most developing countries but they also deserve to vent their grievances when a handful of people tries to rob them of their basic human rights.

You shouldn't be comparing the US with developing countries because the difference is huge. Compare the US to other developed (1st world) countries and you will see their policy isn't as charming as you think.
