This Christmas has been dull for me and I couldn't tell why. But after reading your story, I feel a bit relieved for not joining in the celebrations as I usually do.

While I expect people to be thankful for the year they're leaving behind and not feel guilty for being happy, I think we should also not criticize those who feel differently about the season.
