The one time I ever had toothache was around 12 years old and then I used to eat lots of sweet and chewing gum. I was close to having a whole in my tooth. The black dot is still there but it doesn't hurt.

However, my siblings have had their tooth pulled out . One did it himself. I can imagine the pain he suffered to result to pulling his tooth out in the middle of the night.
