The first step to recovery is accepting your mistakes. The second step is taking actions towards healing. Emotional healing is tricky because it requires you to listen to your inner voice.

The trick here is both good and bad voices echo inside your head and you are confused as to which voice I follow.

I have found it easier with writing down what I want to achieve after leaving an abuser. Writing down how you want to feel, and things you want to do alone helps your recover quickly.
