That's a lot of pressure to put on a child. My mom tried doing that to me, but I objected to her choices. She wanted me to be a nurse and I said no. She then forced that on my younger sister.

Though my sister is doing well in the field, I have no regrets. I like being self employed and the freedom to travel whenever I want.

Which is something my sister envys. Her profession is quite demanding but she can't help the situation.
