Tags are labels used for referencing a topic or someone.

You speak of tagging writers at the end of your post. I do tag when I want to reference the writer.

But cloud tagging a bunch of writers to get eyeballs on your post is plain as lazy. I don't do that and I don't like it when I'm tagged in an article that says nothing about my work.
