Recent ing, I had a drift with my younger brother who is in Dubai. His having done money issues so he reached out to every one of us (his siblings), including our inlaws for help. We all ignored him. Now he thinks we are the bad guys.

Truth is, that brother of mine is always dependent on someone. He’s always throwing his burden on us and we’ve had enough. So I used this particular line I highlighted. I told him no one is going to bail him this time. That he’s all on his own.

When you constantly depend on people you start to see it as an entitlement. Sometimes, it’s good to allow people to face their faces and problems alone, so they learn to depend on no one both themselves.
