Our society has become problematic. The purpose of history is to learn what happened in the past so we can build a better future, which means knowing the good and the bad.

If we only keep materials of the good then we will have a disastrous generation of ignorant folks.

Cancelling historic writers will do us no good. Yes, they portray discriminating cultures but the reason we know is because we have seen what they did to society.

But if we cancel them now, the future generation won't know about these discriminating cultures and the chances of returning these practices is quite high.
