One reason that make you stand out from the rest of the fearbait writers is that you actually believe and feel the stories you right. You don't just write to pump fear into peole and sit back to watch the money roll.

CNN is cutting back on fearbait stories. It's possible they realise it's hurting people's mental health. They probably noticed the low engagement on their site and figured that readers are giving up on reading their 'breaking news' stories.

Is the world ending or is it expanding? If you take the body count into analysis you will notice humans are growing and spreading. So all the negative around deforestation, ecosystem, etc is to make our environment accommodating for us.

As for political war, there haven't been any changes since civilization began. Nation will always rise against nation, because humans are greedy. And we make things worst by voting the wrong people to power.

The problem with hyped news is that it fails to acknowledge the positive scenarios. If you do feel restless about environmental changes, maybe deep down you know that you overexaggerate the information you read and it's not healthy for you, nor the 180k people who read your articles.
