Oh, the pain of being a parent. I never understood how my rebellious attitude was affecting my parents, my mum especially, until I became a mother.

Now I see my daughter emulating me and my mum will be so kind to rub it in my face that that was how I was in my teenage years.

The best I do is to remind my daughter that her actions comes with consequences just like mine did. So she can be prepared to face those challenges when she runs into them.
