No doubt there are women in the category you described. They want to sit at home and leave men to provide for them. I will say men enable this attitude in women. I have uncles who never allowed their wives to work and some of them have been married for over fifty years now.

I have also met men who said they want me to stop working and depend on them if they marry me. So if women still have this mindset it's because men encourage it. Either by asking her to quit her job or by making it seem ok for her to depend on him.

Also these women are in the minority. Some are low values and freeloaders and we have these category in men too.

However, with more women chosing to opt out of marriage and childbearing, and being the sole breadwinners in their families, it's obvious we have more independent women in this age than ever before.

As for women undertaking jobs that require "direction and detailed procedure," are you saying men don't do these jobs? Every organisation has detailed job description for each and every employee, are you saying men don't follow their job description or they don't just work low position jobs?

We have female CEO, doctors, engineers, teachers, lawyers, and even political leaders. Yes, some organisations discriminate against women for higher positions but that is not an argument to say women don't work in high positions.
So what exactly is your point?

You just based your argument on assumptions. And you categorized all women as low values which is a misrepresentation of speech.

Women are defying patriarchal standards and the fact that we want men to earn their place in our heart shows confidence and self-respect. Anything short of that is just boys whining over their insecurities.
