Most times the reason people share their finance is to boost their confidence. Some feel inferior when they meet an amazing person so they try to balance the equation.

I don't feel comfortable sharing my finances for obvious reasons. People may misinterpret my intention.

But I'm not bothered by those who proclaim their wealth as long as the reason is not to intimidate me. I'm very blunt. I will tell you off and turn the table against you.
