I was very disappointed by President Biden’s speech yesterday. I knew the Republicans are holding Americans on a leash, but I expected more efforts in his strings in the fight against democracy.

I have been speechless since the judgement was passed. And yes, both the left and right has failed us. Imagine a woman for trying to save her life is now a criminal offense. This is a hard blow on what the principles of democracy stands for. We are now officially living in an oligarchy government.

Roe v Wade case has been on for over 50 years and today we have returned back to the 1800s, a time women had no rights. Because the Republicans won’t stop at the abortion ban, they will move on to strip women of all equal rights laws.

It’s a very pitiful time to live in America as a woman and more dangerous for Blacks and people of colour.
