I was very disappointed by President Biden's speech yesterday. I knew the Republicans are holding Americans on a leash, but I expected more efforts in his strings in the fight against democracy.

I have been speechless since the judgement was passed. Both the left and right has failed us. Imagine a woman for trying to save her life is now a criminal offense. This is a hard blow on what the principles of democracy stands for. We are now OFFICIALLY living in an oligarchy government.

Roe v Wade case has been on for over 50 years and today we have returned back to the 1800s, a time women had no rights. Because the Republicans won’t stop at the abortion ban, they will move on to strip women of all equal rights laws, including that of equal marriages.

It’s a very pitiful time to live in America as a woman and more dangerous for Blacks and people of colour. What’s more sickening is that other countries loyal to America may begin to emulate them.
