I second the idea on ads. Also by limiting ads to external readers we attract more paying members because some people will like to upgrade to pro to stop the seeing the ads. It’s a win-win for the writer, for Medium and the reader. They should really consider the ads idea. I mean is not like they are not already selling push ads space.
