I have thought about this when I first read the story about the doctor who assisted a patient in their passing and was later sued by the patient's relative.

I don’t see why I should opt for assisted death for any reason. But then again, it's good we have the option to end our misery at old age when the pain becomes unbearable.

My worry is that corrupt and devious people might take advantage of this option to kill someone who is in their way.
