I have noticed it. I think readers are targeting FOM writers to earn more but FOM writers get similar advantage even if they read more.

This is why I think Medium should increase the subscription amount to $10 instead of creating FOM subscription.

If they were boosting FOM stories more that would have been encouraging for more writers to join and it would have even the benefit between FOM members and the regulars.
