I have also practiced the keto diet and I found some contadicting reports that almost ruined health. Cutting off too much carbs from my diet resulted to regular palpitation. Also had to supplement for amino acid.
Compared to the vegan diet, the keto diet is better for my overall health as it contains most minerals and vitamins.
It's important to take note of any dieting process because you can't rely on industrial reports. Most of which are intended to sell health dangers to the consumers.
