If I’m honest, I breathed a little sigh of relief. The exiled-Christmas-tree-peeking-in-the-window bit is fun for a while, but he was starting to look pathetic. Orange and crunchy. Living in the past. I was happy when Jamie sank out of sight.

I guess life was running out of the trees. Christmas trees are the life of the celebration so getting a replacement was wise. You are a funy, though. I enjoy the humour you shared here.
