I get where you are coming from. But we shouldn't forget actions have consequences. That a person was abused shouldn't justify their abuses (or worst) on others.

Anyone who has been abused before should already know the trauma it causes. And when you decide to use your abuse as justification to harm others, that makes you abusive. Short and simple!

Showing empathy to an abuser is like enabling their bad behaviour. Unless they repent and forsake their ways, they don't deserve empathy from anyone.
