I don't think a true friend would breakup over such trival matter.

The incident might seem childish if you look at it from the aspect of a friendship breaking over a set of notes. However, I believe the main issue is betrayal. Even if someone were to do it to me now, even for a frivolous reason, it would still hurt.

I don't think a true friend would breakup over such trival matter. If anything they call-out when you do something wrong and they are quick to forgive.
