I don't have the heart to completely give up on my family. But then again, I have never had the kind of toxic relationship you have with your mother.

One thing I know for sure, is that I will do anything to protect my family from harm. So if I were you, I would send her back a Christmas greeting letting her know her thoughts were well received.
