I agree with your friend. Animals can sense a trustworthy person. And when they do, you become their favourite person.

I don't blame you for keeping your identity private. Stop feeling like you owe anyone your honesty. It's completely ok to reveal yourself to whom you want to, at your own time.

If they are not good with what you write about yourself then they are probably fishing for a reason to judge you.
