I agree sexual chemistry is important in relationships. I have dated someone I wasn't sexually attracted to and it didn't go well.

He was reliable and completely devoted to me. But that spark wasn't there. I won't say he's asexual.

However, I noticed he intimacy wasn't his thing. Sex with him was a drag. Though he was the type of man you can trust to never betray you, I just felt bored and old whenever I was with him.

Eventually, I got tired and broke off the relationship. Because I feared his lack of attraction was a sign he didn't care.
