Here's the thing with black prejudice against inter-racial marriages. When a woman marries, her parent believes they have a son added to the family tree. But since the man is white, he's likely to return to his homeland. There, they not only lose their daughter but lost a son too.

My problem with this mentality is that the African parents believe the girl child ceases to be a member of the family after she's married. And those who recognise women and children, try to choose their spouse for them.

It's the 21st century people. We risk our lives travelling in aerospace, yet we can't risk accepting our fellow human beings into our race. It's about time millennials and gen z ditched our ancestor's backwards ideology. Our generation is different from theirs and if their ideology didn't foster equality in their time, then it certainly won't be helpful in our time.
