For years I have watched Wendy's show. I saw how she rose to stardom from nothing. It is sad to watch her go. I feel terribly sorry for her situation.

I think she took down her show and social accounts on purpose. I don't think anyone is trying to erase her. She just doesn't want the show up because it will attract more criticism to her and the will greatly affect her mental health recovery.

In fact I believe her team tried to keep the show running which is why they didn’t shut down immediately she left the show. Her ex even sued her for wrongful termination of his position.

Wendy's smart, she has played the game of trashing others, so she know what will happen if she leaves the shows up. They will be forced to feature her at some point when people get curious about her disappearance and she wants to live peacefully off public judgments.

As for double standards. Men get backlashed too. All the actors you mentioned battled serious mental health issues and we both know that can only be because of social criticism.

Hollywood expectation on body image takes a toll on both male and female celebrities. Although, Black women get bitten the hardest, however, that doesn't make male backlashing any less depressing.
