But was stopped because men couldn't penetrate mutilated vagina and the mutilated women's vagina gets wider after child birth because the elastic that contrast the clitoris was taken out.

The vagina was too wide it couldn’t grip a penis. Men weren’t getting the satisfaction they needed. So they replaced genital mutilation with marriage to control women sexual affairs.
