Emotional detachment is one of my strongest personality traits. Although, some people tend to see me as insensitive when I express no emotions to their problems.
However, not being emotional helps me understand a situation better and I'm able to make decision that focus on the issue and not the emotion attached to it.
I completely relate to how you feel about getting help without acknowledging you did. That's why I made it a habit to say thank you immediately I feel a positive gesture was given. Because if I don't acknowledge it immediately, I will forget.
