Bryan, you seem to be forgetting we are in a computer age now. If you are so worried about the money you will lose, stick to calls, texts and videos. No one is forcing you to take a woman out and much more spend on exotic dinners.

The fact the you think spending on a woman on first date is an investment makes me believe you intend for something more that worths the money you spend on the woman.

If not, first dates are just to know the person and NOT for expecting something in exchange.
