Bitter truth indeed. We came into this world alone and we will exit this world alone. Letting people mess up your life is like giving them the steering to your vehicle in this case your life. I learned this the hard way.

As we grow, we become self absorbed in chasing our dreams; family, friends, colleagues at some point chase theirs too. So why bother draining ourselves by allowing someone else dictate how we chose to exist? I’m happy you refreshed my mind once again. Sometimes I get caught up in rah rah modern life and forget.
