Are you saying they finally refunded you after they read this article? That sound like damage control. I will still stay away from Spotahome. The only way to know shady business is by reading their review.

I only use Airbnb but it's quite expensive. It will be nice to get an alternative cheap but safe rentals.

Thank you for sharing this and don't allow them to box you into rewriting your bad experience because that will encourage shady businesses to keep scamming people.
