Another reason why I shouldn't go hiking during summer. I can imagine the pain they had to go through before dying, especially the baby. Poor thing!

It's heartbreaking to read of this reckless death. Like you said, at some point they must have started feeling exhausted or dehydrated, and they should have gone back.

Unfortunately, some won't learn from this tragic story.
