And how much is she earning? I don’t mind when people have dating preferences but I do have a problem with those who can’t afford or possess the qualities they seek in a mate.
As for who pays on a date, lately I’m discouraged to go on dates because I no longer feel the need to waste another one hour on a potential. But when I do go on one, I make sure we settle “who pays what” after I have gotten to know the person. And most times, the gentlemen usually pay because those are the ones I go for.
If a guy I hardly know insists we split bills, that’s a red flag for me. Because if he is already making financial demands, then he isn’t looking for a true relationship. Those ones just want a free boyfriend privilege.
Not that I’m looking for commitment or anything serious, but I do like to be teased and pleased. For me, chivalry is still a thing and if the guy has a problem with spoiling a woman, then I will help him save his money by keeping our communication strictly over the phone until he gets tired and stops calling.
